Increasing storage space per node in Azure

I have created a Teradata 15.10, Advanced tier, single node, 30 TB instance in Azure and would like to increase the storage space per node to 60 TB. What is the simplest path to accomplish this task?

In my respose below I am making the assumption that you are wanting to increase the Database Space from 30 TB to 60 TB. We currently do not support increasing the space on an exisitng database, so you would need to launch a new system. My recommendtion would be to launch a two node system with 30 TB per node which would give you the 60 TB system that you are looking for. If you have data on the existing system you would have to do a backup of the data and copy it to the new system.

Arnie,

Thanks for the reply! I will try creating a new Teradata instance and specifying 2 nodes, each with 30 TB. I did not realize total storage scaled with nodes.
