Teradata Storage Durability with Locally Attached Disk

Are there any options for using Teradata with local SSD for production purposes? I understand fallback is an option for high-availability but doesn't seem to have the required durability for production.

To the best of my knowledge the answer is no. Local storage works this way both on Azure and on AWS.  There is ssd storage for Network attached storage on both Azure and AWS. One of the reasons is that we implemented NFR (Node Fail Recovery) on both of these cloud platforms. When a node panics or fails for some reason with the database up a new node automatically gets spawned and the storage automatically gets detached form the bad node and gets attached to the new node.
