TDE STATE WHEN STARTED ON VMPLAYER

I ran the following immediately after the TDE guest machine started and prior to me doing anything...

I don't understand the 'users are logged on' part below... I'm the only user for this machine and I certainly didn't logon anywhere... anyone have an idea why this displayed ?

TD-EXPRESS:~ # pdestate -a
PDE state is RUN/STARTED.
DBS state is 4: Logons are enabled - Users are logged on
TD-EXPRESS:~ #

Re: TDE STATE WHEN STARTED ON VMPLAYER

It may be possible that you have Viewpoint started on TDE which logs into DBS to collect data.

On the other note: You can check what all users are logged on database by executing below query.

select *from table (syslib.monitorsession(-1,'*',0)) as t1;

OR by using query sesison utility..

Most users will not have access to syslib.MoniorSession.

But if you simply want to know about logged on sessions there's also dbc.SessionInfoV
