Teradata Express Software
Formerly this board name was Cloud Computing. The name was changed to better represent the product areas covered.

WinXP Pro SP3 won't be able to use the extra RAM, but could the virtual machine benefit from the extra memory being that it's a 64-bit environment?

The guest OS will be using portion of RAM from the HOST memmory. AFAIK, if the host windows XP is not using 4 GB, the guest will not be able to use extra RAM.

Thanks. I thought VMware wouldn't be able to access any RAM outside of what WinXP is able to use, but wanted to be sure.
