Is there any way in teradata where we can find the information about the rows being added in the table(incremental) if we do not have identity column in the table. Any system table or information or rowIds which can be helpful in this
Look at UseCount Logging if you only care about the number of rows being inserted. If you want to identify the specific rows inserted, you will need to include some sort of column in the table - batch number, timestamp, etc.
Teradata does not allow access to ROWIDs (which are hash based, so probably wouldn't satisfy your request anyway).
Thanks. Just a doubt that i was trying to access data from logging tables as "dbc.QryLogSQL" but it shows no values in the resultset. How do we enable the logging in teradata in ANSI mode itself.
