SQL error check on status bar

Hello,

I've tried looking for this all over, so I've resorted to posting it here.

I'm trying to migrate to Teradata Studio from SQL Assistant, and I've it set up to work out for me with one exception, and it's the SQL Error Check location.

In SQL Assistant, if I misspell a column name, I would get the error on the status bar at the bottom left corner; however, I do not get anything in Teradata Studio. Instead, I have to go into the history tab and double click on results to see it.

Anyone know any tricks to make it more convenient to debug my SQL code in Teradata Studio?

If you hover the cursor over the Result column in the history tab, the error message should be diplayed.

Re: SQL error check on status bar

Hello Fred,

Thank you for your response, but that's an extra click to get an answer for every submit.

I much prefer it to just show somewhere in my display as soon as I submit my code which is not as desirable as other SQL Editors that I've used in the past.
