Space required for a Multiload Job

Hi all,
I have to load a flat file of size 106 GB through mload.I have 390GB space left in the database. However I'm not able load this file because of space .
I get the error as 'No more room in the database'.
Is it because the worktable is consuming more space?
Can anybody explain how much space is consumed by the mload worktable?

Rgds,
Aravind

Re: Space required for a Multiload Job

See chapter 2 of the MultiLoad Reference for a full discussion of disk space usage. Depending on the number of target tables and usage of optional features (fallback, permanent journals, etc.) the space requirement could be several times the size of your flat file.

Re: Space required for a Multiload Job

Also note that the worktable rows are hash distributed on the PI of the target. Check for skewing - if any one AMP runs out of space, then there is "No more room in database".

And don't forget that the worktable is always fallback protected...
