TPT ERROR CODE TPT_INFRA: TPT02040

Hi,
I am new to TPT and calling TPT 13.10 from mainframe. I get a error code TPT_INFRA: TPT02040: Error: Insufficient main storage to allocate 973078581 bytes for a buffer for the name of an INCLUDE file.

Job script preprocessing failed.

I am calling a simple DDL Operator to create a table.

I appreciate any help and suggesstions.

Thanks,
TD9

Try to create a file using JOBLOG DD. then use TLOGVIEW to print it to SYSPRINT and see if you come across anything useful. It's hard to say what you are encountering since you haven't provided your script and JCL.

Try coding REGION=0M on your TBUILD step as well.

Re: TPT ERROR CODE TPT_INFRA: TPT02040

In the JCL for running the TPT job, add "REGION=0M" after "EXEC PGM=TBUILD" which allows the address space to be given as much virtual space as possible

Thanks for the valuable input. I had a JCL problem. In the script file I had comments starting from //* instead /* therefore was getting the above cryptic error.

I would have never imagined that. Thanks for updating the thread with your findings.
