TPT For Informatica 9.0.1

Hi,

I have Informatica 9.0.1 running on Solaris 10 Sparc. I installed the content from tdodbc1400__solaris_sparc.14.00.00.04.tar.gz but still unable to get the TPT working. In the Informatica Relational Loader, unable to see TPT. My target database is TD 14.00

Can someone please help me know :-

1. If i had installed correct package for TPT?

2. Download link for TPT

3. If TPT already present in the above said zip, please help me know what to check to confirm its installed.

Thanks & Regards,

Shubhendu

Re: TPT For Informatica 9.0.1

A couple of things.

1. you can use the platform appropriate package command (e.g. pkginfo) to see if the TPT package was installed.

2. from a command prompt on the machine on which you installed TPT, you can type "tbuild -v" (without quotes) and if you get the TPT output showing the version number, you know TPT was installed.

Other than that, please check with Informatica to determine why you do not see TPT in the IRL.

Re: TPT For Informatica 9.0.1

The title of this thread should not have TPT in the title, since it is a problem or question regarding BTEQ.

Re: TPT For Informatica 9.0.1

Your LD_LIBRARY_PATH contains the 64-bit library: /opt/teradata/client/13.10/lib64

BTEQ is 32-bit; make sure the scripts calling BTEQ use /opt/teradata/client/13.10/lib instead.
