I'm connecting to an Oracle database using the ODBC DSN type. When specifying my Job Source, I can connect to the source to see a list of tables, but when I select a table, the columns of the table do not appear. I just get the spinning "hourglass".
I tried logging on as a "dba" type user but I got the same result.
Are there specific privileges required on the source system to be able to retrieve the column information ?
This is in the console window:

A possible issue in the TPT Wizard ?
We do not support JRE 1.6. We do not have any resource to work on certifying the TPT Wizard with JRE 1.6 or 1.7.
Can you try using the TPT Wizard with JRE 1.5?
Unfortunately No. It's running in a locked down desktop environment, and that's the only place I can test the Job Souce creation.
Hello Tony, I have the same issue. I tried Jre 1.5 with update 22 and I am getting the same error.
