Enter Data Source Name: TDODBC

Enter UserID: abc

Re: Teradata ODBC Driver For Linux - Urgent Help Requested

Hello.

I think it can be because ODBC need know the DSN name.

see driver entry in odbcinst.ini.

this must be...

[DSN NAME]

Driver=Teradata

Description=MY TERADATA SERVER

DBCName=dbname

DateTimeFormat=III

SessionMode=Teradata

UseDataEncryption=Yes

Re: Teradata ODBC Driver For Linux - Urgent Help Requested

The message indicates either username or password was not supplied. Are you typing the password when prompted by the "adhoc" program?

The DSN goes in the ODBCINI file not ODBCINST.
