Teradata SQL Assistant JAVA not seeing ODBC connections

I've created several USER DSN and System DSN entries for ODBC user sources, but none of them are appearing in Teradata's Java SQL Assistant when I right click on database connectsion and choose "New Connection"

Any ideas?

Looks like I need to identify the .jar files for each driver?

Why?  In previous editions this wasn't required.  Any idea where the driver .jar files are stored?

I don't think the Java Edition uses ODBC connections. It uses JDBC connections. I believe there are some embedded drivers but you can also reference the external JDBC drivers as well. Under the Window menu, there's a preferences option. One of the options there will allow you to specify the drivers used.

@Aelstro2, mnylin is correct. The SQL Assistant Java Edition does not use ODBC. See the "Creating Connections" section of the SQL Assistant Java Edition article (http://developer.teradata.com/tools/articles/sql-assistant-java-edition) for details of creating connections with this tool.
