DEFINE STATEMENT ON FASTLOAD

I am trying to fastload a TIMESTAMP(6) into a table. I have tried several formats for the define statement and none of them are accepted by fastload. I have tried

DEFINE COLNAME(TIMESTAMP);
DEFINE COLNAME(TIMESTAMP(6));
DEFINE COLNAME(PERIOD(TIMESTAMP));
DEFINE COLNAME(PERIOD(TIMESTAMP(6)));

All of them are erroring out as bad definitions. Anyone have any ideas? I am running TD12.

One more piece of information, I am loading a file in that was fast exported in the FASTLOAD format.

Re: DEFINE STATEMENT ON FASTLOAD

It specifies in the FastLoad manual that you need to convert the TIMESTAMP column to its fixed length CHAR equivalent, and use that in the DEFINE statement.

What version of FastLoad are you using?
