Deployment on WebLogic

  • Start the WebLogic Console.
  • Once you are connected, click on [Deployments] in the left pane.

  • Click on the [upload your files(s)] hyperlink in the right pane in the Note: section.

  • Browse for others/terajmsa.war on local file system.
  • Click on the [Next] button.

  • You should see the confirmation message “The file terajmsa.war has been uploaded successfully.”
  • Click on the [Next] button.

  • Select the [Install this deployment as an application] radio button.
  • Click on the [Next] button.
  • Click on the [Finish] button.
  • You should see the confirmation message “All changes have been activated. No restarts are necessary.”

  • The deployment has been successfully installed.
  • In the list of deployed applications, the state for terajmsa should be Active.

Redirecting StdOut

On WebLogic, in order for the JMS Universal Connector to log to Standard Out, you must redirect Standard Out to a log file.

  • Expand [Environment] in the left pane.
  • Click on [Servers] under Environment.
  • Click on the examplesServer(admin) in the list.
  • Click on the [Logging] tab.

  • Enter logs/examplesServer.log for [Log file name].
  • Scroll down to the bottom and click on [Advanced]
  • Select the [Redirect stdout logging enabled] check box.
  • Click on the [Save] button.

Logging

Standard Out log files are located in the following directory:

/<INSTALL_DIRECTORY>/samples/domains/wl_server/servers/logs

The log file name is examplesServer.log.

User Setup

In WebLogic server, you must create a User Name and Password in the security realm. The User Name and Password should match the Teradata Name and Password.

  • Start the WebLogic Console.
  • Once you are connected, click on [Security Realms] in the left pane.
  • Click on the [myrealm] hyperlink in the list.

  • Click on the [Users and Groups] tab.
  • Click on the [Users] tab.
  • Click on the [New] button.

  • Enter User Name and Password. The User Name and Password should be the same as the Teradata User Name and Password you will use for logging on to the Administrative GUI.
  • Click the [OK] button.
