Hi Anil,
some questions:
- MLoad using ODBC connection?
- is the input file binary data or readable text?
- fixed or variable text?
- which FORMAT and DATEFORM setting is used in MLoad?

Yes, MLOAD using ODBC connection with DATE format as AAA
and the input file is readable text

I have not set any FORMAT and DATEFORM for MLOAD.

Hi Anil,
AAA is an ODBC setting, it doesn't matter in MLoad.
MLoad only uses CLI, but never ODBC, that's why i asked.

If you don't set FORMAT it defaults to binary FASTLOAD format, but you need TEXT.

If DATEFORM is set to ANSIDATE it must be a properly formated string (your sample data looks ok) else you have to define a CHAR with an appropriate length.
The details can be found in the MLoad manual.
