Please provide the exact version number of TPT (including the patch version).
If you are running 15.00.00.00 then I would first suggest that you upgrade to the latest patch level of TPT 15.
Next, are you using the ODBC drivers for Progress DataDirect?
We only certify with those drivers.
When you say "once in a while", how often?
Does the type (size of data) of job seem to be consistent with the failure?
How many instances of the ODBC operator are you specifying?
What are your settings for shared memory usage and availability?
