How to use the the -S with tbuild

Hi.

I'm having a problem with tbuild when i try to catch the sysout.

I'm doing this.

tbuild -f scriptfile.txt -v jobvars.txt Load_1 -S > /home/logs/Load_1.log

But i have the same sysout usin the "-S" or without it, then i have to check the jobid, for example "Load_1-125" and use tlogview -j Load_1-125.

Can you help me pleace.

Thankx.

It appears -S is valid only for mainframe client, and only in TPT 12.0.

Re: How to use the the -S with tbuild

tlogview is the tool to extract out the information from the TPT logs. Running TPT is not the
exact same as running the traditional utilities such as FastLoad, where those utilities are made
up of single process applications.

TPT has multiple processes running at one time, with all of these processes recording information
asynchronously in the log.

tlogview is the tool needed to extract out the information so that the output from the operators
can be presented in an orderly fashion.

And yes, -S is only for MVS.
