I am receiving error 2679 on Error Table

I know that error 2679 is:
2679 The format or data contains a bad
character.
Explanation: This error occurs when the user submits
a numeric-to-character conversion with an illegal format,
or when, in converting characters to numeric,
either the data or the format contains a bad character.

but I am getting it for my:
.FIELD DSTR_AMT * DECIMAL(13,2);

I looked at the table the data came from and the target table and both have that column define as:
DSTR_AMT DECIMAL(13,2) NOT NULL COMPRESS (0.00 ,-5.00 ,6.00 ,1.50 ,12.00 ,5.00 ),

What is it that I am doing wrong to get this error?

Thanks,
April

Most likely it's a mismatch between your export and load formats ...... if you can post those scripts, might be able to help ...

but if you have exported in TEXT format, you might as well try changing that definition to

.FIELD DSTR_AMT * CHAR(13);

or

.FIELD DSTR_AMT * VARCHAR(13);

depending on what your file looks like ....
