TPT ODBC Operator - select data into a TPT "variable"

Hi,

I got to know that I can use TPT ODBC Operator to select data from another ODBC DB and then load that data into TD DB, using the LOAD Operator.

I am writing to ask if it is possible to use the ODBC operator to select data and put it into "variables" e.g., select a, b into :A, :B from tab; and then be able to use :A and :B in the TPT Script itself, to get some dynamic behavior.

Thanks,

Bilal

TPT does not yet have the feature to allow what we call "system variables". This feature is on the list to be implemented in a future release. You can use the Partners Advisory Council as a forum for submitting enhancement requests and have customers vote on them to determine priority.

Hi Mark,

Thank you. Just some thoughts, I have heard of a "Teradata Partners Conference" that's probably held annually.

Do you mean to say that this enhancement should be raised on that conference, or, is there any on-line web-site/Portal, where this can be raised...?

Thanks & Regards,
