Teradata Debugger for C/C++ UDF 15.10.01 Eclipse Plug-in now available

Teradata Debugger for C/C++ UDF Eclipse Plug-in Release 15.10.01 has been released and is available in the Teradata Developer Exchange download section at Teradata Debugger for C/C++ UDF .

Product Information:

The Teradata Debugger for C/C++ UDF (CUDB) was first released in Teradata Database 15.10 as a command  line interface tool (Teradata GDB). CUDB has the following features:

  • Supports SMP and MPP Teradata systems
  • Supports debugging of protected and secure mode UDFs on running systems
  • Supports multiple debug sessions running simultaneously
  • Provides secure operation via encryption of its message traffic
  • Support debugging all types of C/C++ external routines: scalar, aggregate, table function table operators, user-defined methods (Teradata 15.10.01 an up), and standard external stored procedures.
  • Uses standard permissions for debugging

The Teradata Debugger for C/C++ UDF Eclipse Plug-in 15.10.01 is being released on DevX to provide a full-feature graphical user interface for CUDB on the Eclipse IDE. This is the initial release of CUDB Eclipse.

CUDB Eclipse requires JRE 1.7 or later, Eclipse Luna SR2, and CDT 8.6.0. It runs on Windows, SLES11, and Mac OS X platforms.

CUDB Eclipse support Teradata 15.10.01 and later releases.

CUDB is not recommended for use on production systems. Teradata does not support issues caused by use on a production system.
