Using SQL assistant to pull data from an ORacle DB

Apologize if this is a simple answer, but I am trying to use SQL assistant version 12.0.0.4 to run queries against an Oracle database.

I have a user who can do this with an older version of sql assistant, but i have defined my connection the same way as my user's and while i can connect to the Db, it will not let me open a view of the table or run any queries.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
check the connection from different tool like Excel or Access or directly from ODBC (if possible).

I can access the database using access and it works just fine.

I was told i need to use an older version of teradata sql assistant, does that sound right?
