I am very new to Teradata and upon investigating how to write a Fastexport script. I made my script this way
.BEGIN EXPORT SESSIONS 20;
.EXPORT OUTFILE ddname2.txt FORMAT TEXT;
SELECT top 5 xyz, count(1) from abc a
join def b
on (a.a = b.b and a.c =b.D)
where a.G > 0 and a.P =12345 and a <> 'P'
GROUP BY 1;
Upon execution it is prommting an error
**** 12:04:07 UTY8400 Default character set: ASCII
**** 12:04:07 UTY8400 Current RDBMS has UDT support
**** 12:04:07 UTY8400 Current RDBMS has Large Decimal support
**** 12:04:07 UTY8400 Maximum supported buffer size: 1M
**** 12:04:07 UTY8400 Data Encryption supported by RDBMS server
**** 12:04:11 UTY1008 RDBMS failure: 2644, No more room in database PQRT.
Can someone help me what I did wrong here.
Thanks in advance.
Is database "PQRT" the default database for your user Id? If so, the Log table "utillog" will be created in that database, and therefore the database must have PERM space allocated to it. You might need to move some space to the database, or build your log table in a different database (by qualifying the log table with a database name).
