Hi All. We consistently receive 3192 (No utility partitions available) errors for some of our Data Collectors.
[Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 13.10.00.18] [Error 3192] [SQLState HY000] No utility partitions available. Try later.
I've been told this is directly related to hung sessions in the DBCCONS partition.
Late yesterday I disabled all access to Remote Console and restarted all Viewpoint services. The 3192 errors remained for 2 data collectors. I ran sql to identify all users in the DBCCONS partition and received no rows back.
This morning I have an additional data collector with a 3192 error; the sql returned one row for user VIEWPOINT.
Has anyone else experienced this 3192 issue and been able to resolve it?
There is definately an issue here. I think we need to have the Teradata GSC investigate the problem. So if you haven't already, please submit an incident. And please contact me directly with the information so I and Viewpoint engineering can assist. Simply email me at Gary.Ryback@teradata.com
