Compression Ratio For Query Grid In ViewPoint Range Over Life Of Query

When using Query Grid 2.03 ViewPoint will now display in the Query Monitor the compression ratio that QG uses to move the data across the wire. We have noticed that if you watch this value over the life of the query it can have a very wide range. I saw one example yesterday where in the first minute or two of the query it was in the 3x range but by the end it was 11x. Does anyone know whether that final value we obtain from VP should be indicative of what the compression ratio was for the volume of data it is reporting that it moved or would you need to look at regular interval values and take an average? My feeling is what is last reported should represent what it is for the life of the query but I cannot find in any documentation where this is addressed.
