In the Data collectors setup : Enable SQL Explain collector is checked,
And i could see the error as below :
Unable to collect SQL and Explain for session xxxx . SQL error code :3296
can somebody explain on how to get it corrected or redirect
Do you also have the Sessions collector enabled? Are both collectors running without error? As the documentation states "The SQL Explain collector is dependent on the Session collector running because it uses previously gathered data from the Session Collector"
You should also check the following settings
Setttings > RoleManager > Click on the appropriate role > Click on portlets > Query Monitor > Click on Set Permissions > Permissions for Query Monitor
Yes in the set permissions option for query monitor, both 'VIew SQL' and 'View Explain' are checked.
Hi I have submitted an incident,
Teradata says due to large/complicated queries running all the time(yes there are few SPs which runs 24*7) viewpoint is unable to fetch the info ..and was throwing Timeout error.
Teradata has changed the PMPC_timeout to zero ..increased it to 600 secs..but there were NO positives out of it..
Is this related to bandwidth of network ?
