I was trying to install view point but for this need to install JDK.
Java 1.5 SDK Get the "Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0". You'll want the JDK 5.0 without the NetBeans IDE or the Java EE. After installing the Java SDK, add a JAVA_HOME environment variable that points to the installation location of the JDK. Don't forget to add the Java JDK bin directory to the Windows PATH environment variable, as described in the Java installation instructions.
But when I check this link on sun site then there were two JDK one with netbeans and one with Java EE. Other then these two some more were there.
But I was not able to figure out which one I do need to install.
If you are using windows XP, it has built-support for .zip files. Simply unzip it to your location of choice and follow the install instructions in install.html (resides in the location you unzipped ant to).
