I am struggling with a problem. How do i know which databases have backup ?

Hi,

DSA - stores info in SYSBAR.BAREVENTSV table. Also you can try: dbc.qrylogutilityv where utilityname='BAR'.

For non-DSA backups, dbc.events table with eventtype='dump' would give this informatino.

Re: How do I know which databases have backup

SYSBAR.BAREventsV does not list the database name so how can we tell from a dictionary table what databases have (and more importantly) not been backed up

CREATE SET TABLE SYSBAR.BAREventsTbl ,FALLBACK ,
NO BEFORE JOURNAL,
NO AFTER JOURNAL,
CHECKSUM = DEFAULT,
DEFAULT MERGEBLOCKRATIO
(
Jobid BIGINT NOT NULL,
Operation VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET UNICODE NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
UserName VARCHAR(128) CHARACTER SET UNICODE NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
Command VARCHAR(1000) CHARACTER SET UNICODE NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
ByteCount BIGINT NOT NULL,
RowCount BIGINT NOT NULL,
Phase VARCHAR(20) CHARACTER SET UNICODE NOT CASESPECIFIC,
StartTime TIMESTAMP(6) WITH TIME ZONE NOT NULL,
EndTime TIMESTAMP(6) WITH TIME ZONE,
EndStatus INTEGER NOT NULL)
PRIMARY INDEX ( Jobid );

REPLACE VIEW SYSBAR.BAREventsV
AS SELECT
Jobid,
Operation,
UserName,
Command,
ByteCount,
RowCount,
Phase,
StartTime,
EndTime,
EndStatus FROM SYSBAR.BAREventsTbl
WITH CHECK OPTION;
