Do we have any way to list all databases of a DSA job ?
I tried for command but did not find much on it.
Have you looked at the DSC command job_status_log? It will list everything but there is a field for "Object Type"
This will give same result which we can get from Viewpoint DSA portal. it incluse all objects even we selected Databases only. Can we get selected list as we see in DSA job portal when we modfiy the job ?
I'm not to sure what you are trying to achieve?
When you create a DSA BAR Backup job you can explicitly select Databases that you want to include in the job (which you should be able to see in the Selection Summary tab).
However if you are using the "Include all children databases and users" since child databases/users can be created, dropped, or even shifted in/out of the heirachy in the list, databases or users can therefore change between job executions ie. every time a backup job is executed a job plan with a fresh Object List is generated.
For static systems realistically having prior knowledge of the RDBMS hierarchy and/or use of general DBA tools to enumarate this are usually more straight forward.
You can use the preview option in the run_jobs command nb. this does not run the job, in theory you could run the preview, run the actual job a minute later, and end up with a differing list of objects between the two.
