I am looking for an advice on how i can store the content of history window in a table.
But it is not that simple. I execute a teradata batch with Python, so history don't appear in my history window.
How can i get this history for my batch ?
When you say 'history window' you're presumably talking about a window in a particular product (TD Studio, SQLA etc.).
You'll need to look in the documentation for that product. Assuming the product doesn't have that functionality built-in, most products will allow you to export grid data to a csv or xls file (or something similar).
That is probably your starting point, then you've got to write some code to read that file and load to a table in Teradata.
Yes i use the library Pyodbc in Python in order to connect in Teradata and tech my request.
Is there any request to get the entry of history tab (windows) of SQLA ? In order to recycle with pyodbc.
The History window in SQL Assistant uses a Microsoft Access (JET) database file SQLHistory.mdb.
You can find the location of this file via Tools/Options/File Paths.
Does that answer your question?
