Possible values representing 'types' of 'ExceptionValue' column in DBQLogTbl
For TDWM, DBQLogTbl has a column 'ExceptionValue' which is documented in Teradata 13 as:
"Specifies what type of Teradata DWM exception occurred."
While in Teradata 12, it is documented as:
"Specifies what type of Teradata DWM exception occurred. The value indicates that one of the following limits was exceeded: 01- Exception time limit 02- CPU time (AMP and PE) limit 03 - AMP CPU skew limit 04 - AMP I/O count limit 05 - AMP I/O skew limit 06 - Max row count (for a step) 08 - Blocked time limit 09 - Disk to CPU ratio 10 - Spool space limit"
But on Teradata 12, we are seeing different values e.g. 32, 128. Where can we get the mapping of these ExceptionValue codes?
Re: Possible values representing 'types' of 'ExceptionValue' column in DBQLogTbl
Where did you get that list from?
In V2R6.2/TD12/TD13 it's documented in the Data Dictionary Manual as
"0x00000001 - Exception time limit exceeded. 0x00000002 - CPU time (AMP and PE) limit exceeded. 0x00000004 - Blocked time limit exceeded. 0x00000008 - Disk to CPU ratio exceeded. 0x00000010 - AMP CPU skew limit exceeded. 0x00000020 - AMP I/O count limit exceeded. 0x00000040 - AMP I/O skew limit exceeded. 0x00000080 - Max row count (for a step) exceeded. 0x00000100 - Max row count (for a query) exceeded. 0x00000200 - Spool space limit exceeded. 0x00000400 - Number of AMPs used in query exceeded. These values show up as an integer. A conversion to hex is used to extract the bit values. For example - a value of 1024 converted to hex is 400."
So it's probably ment to have several combined conditions/bits set.
