float data type returning inconsistent result

Could some one please help me understand this issue.

 

I have a column with float data type. when i take sum of that column, it is giving me different values in the decimal places when i executed multiple times.

 

1st time : 80823.7176340041

2nd time : 80823.717634004

How many rows to you sum?

But this is part of the game of floats - results can depend on the order of sums and on MMP systems the order of the sum can differ from different selects...

so it is not an TD issue, it is related to the data type
