I need to uninstall all the previous version of TTU from the Windows 10 system and install latest version TTU 16.20 silently from command line.
I tried runing silent_uninstall.bat as a administrator from command line but it is not doing any thing.
Ran below command :
runas /profile /user:TD\SA186047 "C:\Temp\Teradata 16.20\TTUBase_Windows16.20.12.00\TeradataToolsAndUtilitiesBase\Windows\TTU\silent_uninstall.bat"
then I tried running for complete removal of previos version:
cscript uninstall_TTU.vbs /SUITE:ALL /PRIORTOVERSION:16.20.00.00 /FORCE:TRUE
It is Searching & Cleaning upf or 14.10 and 15.00 version but not 15.10 which actually exist in my system. it is kind of wierd to me.
Kindly help me if anyone encountered sunch kind of issue.
The uninstall_TTU.vbs cleanup script only removes TTU 15.00 and earlier.
For TTU 15.10.10 forward, multiple versions of TTU can coexist, so cleanup prior to installing a newer version is not mandatory. You can, of course, explicitly uninstall via Settings (Control Panel), msiexec, etc.
Note that by default, silent_install.bat removes prior suite versions (14.10 and later).
Or if you want to explicitly invoke silent_uninstall.bat, add the ALL parameter to your command string. (You must specify which product or products are to be removed.)
