"Generic JDBC Driver" vs TeradataStudioDataSources_template.config

Hi all

We have to pre-configure and to distribuite to our colleagues a laptop computer with Teradata Studio (16.20.08) installed and configured with several profile connections.

Customizing the TeradataStudioDataSources_template.config and using the setup.exe parameter /v"CHECK_PRECONFIG_FILE=1" /v"CONFIGFILE_PATH=\"C:\<filename>" everytingh works fine if the connection profile type is already included on the TeradataStudioDataSources_template.config

We have to prepare connection profile that use the "Generic JDBC Driver" driver type.
In the TeradataStudioDataSources_template.config file there's not a sample for "Generic JDBC Driver", how we can get infos about it? an example.

An other question...

On the "navigator" window of T. Studio there is the "export..." and "import connection profile",
there is a way to do the same but from the prompt command line?!

A command to import a connection profile file exported in advance

thank you, ciao

GIovanni

Hi, Configuration template file is not been specified about Generic JDBC driver configuration . So you need to launch studio and configure the driver from Studio once and establish the connection successfully. Then export the profile and import it for all other instances .

No Command line script provided as part of Studio to import/export profiles.
