FastLoad crashes when i try to logon

Hello, I have used Teradata for a few years but have not had a need to use the FastLoad utility until now.  I had several other tools from TTU installed, but not FastLoad.  So i installed Fastload (twice), and everything appeared to install ok... but when trying to log on, Fastload freezes and does an "appcrash".  I am using this syntax:  .LOGON MyTDServer/MyID, MyPwd;  My DBA has tried these same credentials on his installation of FastLoad and he logs on OK.  How can i fix my installation of FastLoad?  I have tried rebooting after install, to no avail...
