Re: Introducing Teradata Wallet

That's what the tdwallet chgpwd command does.

Try tdwallet help or tdwallet help commands to find such info.

Please note that Teradata JDBC Driver Stored Password Protection is separate from Teradata Wallet. At the present time, there is no interoperability between the two features, but that may be added in the future.

Is there any update on Teradata Wallet supporting JDBC?

@duevj No, there is no interoperability between Teradata JDBC Driver Stored Password Protection and Teradata Wallet.

@tomnolan: Thanks for the quick answer Tom. Are there any plans to haveTD Wallet providing JDBC connectivity?

Re: Introducing Teradata Wallet

Hi

I'm testing TDWALLET (16.20) and I have two specific questions:

1. Is it possible to change the value of a stored item? ... if possible then how can I do it?

2. In case I forget my wallet password. Can I reset it without losing the list of stored items? There is another method to recover the password of the wallet?

Thank you

Re: Introducing Teradata Wallet

1. You can't overwrite, but can del the existing entry and then add a new value.

2. No. You can change the password (as long as you know the current one), but there is intentionally no method to recover it if you forget.

Re: Introducing Teradata Wallet

Thanks. Finally we delete the value of items at the list and add new items.
