MIGRATING PASSWORDS ACROSS DIFFERENT TERADATA DATABASES

DOES ANYONE KNOW A WAY TO MIGRATE PASSWORDS ACROSS 2 DIFFERENT SYSTEMS.
I have a bunch of users who want to be created with the old password.
Any ideas here ....appreciated.

If you do a backup/restore of DBC, the source-passwords are transferred too. Be aware that you will have to delete the "old" DBC of the target system. All objects (databases, rights, users) will be recreated.
